Location: Washington, D.C.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (No weekends)

Position Overview:

We are seeking highly reliable, fast-paced Baristas to serve in a high-profile Starbucks location within the U.S. House of Representatives. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, precision, and professionalism while delivering exceptional customer service to a dynamic and time-sensitive clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food items with speed, accuracy, and consistency
Maintain efficient workflow during high-volume periods (morning rush, legislative sessions, events)
Deliver a welcoming and professional customer experience to staff, members, and visitors
Operate POS system and handle transactions quickly and accurately
Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized at all times
Follow all Starbucks recipes, food safety, and sanitation standards
Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations
Anticipate customer needs and minimize wait times

Speed & Efficiency: Ability to perform under pressure without sacrificing quality
Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are critical in this role

Qualifications:

Previous barista or high-volume food service experience preferred
Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

Dependable with a strong work ethic
Must be able to pass any required background or security screening

Schedule & Benefits:

Hours: Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No weekend shifts
Base Pay: $18 plus tips averaging $23-$25 per hour
