Position Overview:
We are seeking highly reliable, fast-paced Baristas to serve in a high-profile Starbucks location within the U.S. House of Representatives. This role requires a strong sense of urgency, precision, and professionalism while delivering exceptional customer service to a dynamic and time-sensitive clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare handcrafted Starbucks beverages and food items with speed, accuracy, and consistency
- Maintain efficient workflow during high-volume periods (morning rush, legislative sessions, events)
- Deliver a welcoming and professional customer experience to staff, members, and visitors
- Operate POS system and handle transactions quickly and accurately
- Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Follow all Starbucks recipes, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth operations
- Anticipate customer needs and minimize wait times

Qualifications:
- Previous barista or high-volume food service experience preferred
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods

- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass any required background or security screening
Schedule & Benefits:
- Hours: Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekend shifts
- Base Pay: $18 plus tips averaging $23-$25 per hour
