About the Opportunity:

Chick-fil-A is seeking an experienced Director of Restaurant Operations to oversee daily restaurant operations while leading recruiting, human resources, team development, scheduling, and operational excellence.

This leadership role is responsible for helping grow the restaurant, building a high-performing team, maintaining operational systems, and ensuring an exceptional experience for both guests and team members.

This position offers significant professional growth with opportunities to advance into executive leadership and other senior operational roles.

Responsibilities:

Restaurant Operations:

Oversee daily restaurant operations.
Maintain operational excellence across all departments.
Ensure efficient execution of company standards.
Support long-term business growth initiatives.

Leadership & Team Development:

Recruit, interview, hire, and retain top talent.
Grow the restaurant team from approximately 20 to 40+ team members.
Coach and develop leaders and team members.
Foster a positive, engaging workplace culture.

Human Resources:

Manage on boarding and off boarding processes.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
Administer payroll and employee benefits.
Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.
Lead performance management, coaching, disciplinary action, and termination processes when necessary.

Scheduling & Workforce Planning:

Create and manage team schedules.
Ensure proper staffing levels based on business needs.
Improve staffing efficiency through proactive recruiting strategies.

Inventory & Financial Operations:

Support inventory management and ordering.
Monitor operational efficiency and financial performance.
Assist with maintaining profitability while delivering exceptional service.

Qualifications:

Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Previous restaurant management or hospitality leadership experience.
Human resources and recruiting experience required.
Experience leading and developing large teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of payroll, scheduling, HR processes, and employment regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
Passion for leadership, hospitality, and team development.
